Hip Hop's Love Affair with Fashion: Inside Stuff Magazines Music Issue Weekend in Sin City

Under the hot sun, of Sin City Las Vegas, hundreds of scantily clad 20 and 30-somethings rocked and gyrated to the sounds of hip hop music, as rapper Fabulous performed at Stuff Magazine’s 2006 Music Issue weekend held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

While Fabulous and crew spite lyrics on a plank-like stage in the middle of the Hard Rock pool, Phat Farm and Baby Phat models sashayed down the catwalk, showing off the cutest in urban classic fashion. All the female models looked like Kimora Lee, clones, with their stick straight hair and pulled in a high ponytail, while the men looked more like Russell, all prepped out, yet urban fresh.

In the midst of all the action, a few name Celebrities were on hand for the rockin’ weekend, including the lovely Vivica Fox, Crunk kin g Lil Jon, (no E.S. boys), Diddy’s newest girl group Danity Kane, Chris Evans, and the always funny Tom Green.

Inside the gift suite at the Hard Rock, Vivica revealed that she will soon be appearing on ABC’s hit dance show, Dancing with the Stars, as well as a host of films and direct to DVD flicks.

Tom Green ever so quietly, snaked around the suite, picking up Phat Farm apparel, grooming items and cracking jokes with his buddies. Tom did make time for press revealing that he has an a new internet show, called The Channel. “It’s very cool,” said Green. “It’s all done in my home, so its very easy for me to show up to work on time.”

Festivities for the weekend concluded at Hard Rock’s ultra hip and sexual hot spot, Body English on Saturday night.
