Lyrics Three

I Didnt Know

We met in the springtime, you melted my heart,
The love that you planted was strong from the start.
We blossomed in summer, you made my life rich,
The days without number, the flame of love lit.
But an angel came in autumn and placed you in their care.
The leaves fell as you caught them
Matching gold lights in your hair.
I call your name when memries come round,
As autumns first leaf drifts to the ground.

I didnt know how much I loved you
Until you went away.
I didnt say I love you until that final day.
The music that was you I only noticed when it stopped.
I didnt take the time to say I cared for you a lot.
My love of life went with you - too late for me to say
I didnt know how much I loved you
Until the day you went away.

I Run Evry Morning

Whos that guy just clipping along?
The slap of his Nikes making a song?
Hes probly the athlete who live s upstairs,
The one who keeps waving and getting in my hair.

I dont mind you chasing me if thats your style,
I run evry morning, bout a country mile.
But youd better be smart and good looking, too.
Have a great car, at least an oh two.
I admit I like money, I can even be bought,
And if youre real nice, I might try to get caught.

Its not gonna be easy, I can run pretty fast.
If he wants to share my love,
Ill have to see what hes made of.

I dont mind you following if thats your style,
I run evry morning bout a country mile.
Now hes matching my pace and I seem to be slowing,
Whats gonna happen theres no way of knowing.
Hes not playing fair, the way this race was fought,
But since my heart is racing, I seem to be caught.

So if youve been wondring
W here weve been all the while,
We run evry morning bout a country mile.

Ive Never Changed

Some people should try to better themselves,< br> Theres always room for improvement.
One person I know well needs rearranging -
Some others are fickle, they keep on changing.

Ive never changed, Im still the same.
What I used to do, Im doing again.
Those habits of mine that I had before
Number the same, not less, not more.

Im in a rut, theres not much hope,
Nobodys perfect, not even the Pope.
I continue to do the things I did;
You almost discovered the one that I hid.

But Ive never changed, dont think I can.
Youll have to love me the way I am.
