Learn to Read Music Online

If you or anyone you know wants to learn to read music, its a lot easier to do than it used to be. The Internet gives us all access to almost unlimited information, and can deliver an incredible array of products and tools right to our desktops. Not surprisingly, there are some really clever products out there that can help you learn to read notes.

Piano is Fun from Anthony Fernando is a great beginner package for a very reasonable price that will teach you how to read music. The knowledge and practice available here would cost many times the purchase price ($24.95) in personal lessons. Included in the price are free lifetime upgrades and a 30 day money-back guarantee.

Purchase and Installation

Purchase and installation are both a snap. The entire process takes no more than five minutes and is virtually foolproof. So, what's in the product? A series of lessons and practice games that teach you how to read music and make it fun! And that's quite an accom plishment! Most students find it an awesome, dreadful task, but it really doesn't have to be, as this product demonstrates. When you stArt the program, you might think that the product is just for kids. Well, it is great for kids, but it's also fun for anyone that wants to learn to read music for the piano. My own bass clef reading skills fade in and out, and I actually enjoyed clicking through the lessons and games (review tests).

Getting StArted

The basic package features a series of twenty lessons that stArt very simply and progress through both the treble and bass clefs. The graphics are big and bright and easy to read. There are good sound and visual effects - enough to keep your interest up but not so much that it distracts from the point of learning the notes. The way to get stArted with the product is to take the tour, which explains the layout of the lessons and the games that are used as review tests for each of the twenty lessons. As a student progresses through each lesson, awards are given and displayed on a separate screen - great little reinforcers to keep you going.

Menu and Options

The main menu is completely self-explanatory and includes a button for StArt Here which leads to the tour, a Lessons button, which leads to the twenty lessons, an Options button (explained below) and buttons for advanced tests called the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Challenges. The Options button lets you control what happens when a correct answer is entered (there are a few different choices), and contains an option for teachers that allows the addition or deletion of a student's name. It is also possible for a teacher to construct custom lessons that operate like the other lessons. The option is in choosing the notes that are presented in the test. So, if you want your child or student to concentrate on recognizing certain notes, you can easily create exercises that contain only those notes. There is also a sound option that lets you turn on or off the sound effects that accompany pArts of the program.

Extra Challenging Exercises

The Bronze, Silver, and Gold Challenge exercises are more note recognition tests but with the notes passing across the screen at a faster pace, obviously requiring a quicker response from the user. If a student can master these, there isn't much doubt that they know their notes.

So that's about it! This program doesn't balance your checkbook, manage your portfolio, or vacuum your carpet, but it never claimed to! If you want to learn to read music, or have a child that's about to stArt lessons or just shows interest, this product is a great buy. Imagine your piano teacher's surprise when your 5 year old shows up knowing how to read music on both the treble and bass clefs! She'll fall off her p iano bench! By the way, my son, who has been taking lessons for two years, came home from school yesterday and ASKED if he could use the Piano is Fun program! Think about that!

Beginner Piano Lessons: Putting Energy Into the Music Adds Personality & Style

Beginners tend to get focused on reading the notes and finding the right keys on the piano and forget the point of playing - to bring personal sensitivity to bear on the music. Heres some ideas to help beginning piano students energize their music and bring it to life with personality and style.

1.Relax so your body can easily respond to the music as you play.

When students play stiffly they arent able to feel the music and to express it with sensitivity. Be sure to breath slowly and deeply while you are playing to keep your body relaxed.

2.Feel the vibrations of each note as it is played and allow it to resonate through your body.

Being relaxed allows students to feel the vibrations of each note as it is played and to allow the vibrations created by each sound to resonate throughout the body. This is like plugging the piano into your nervous system. It creates an energy circuit that infuses the music with the human sensitivity of the Artist.

3.Hear the music in your mind and decide how to touch each note.

The next step is to hear the music in your mind and decide how you want each note to sound before it is played so that youll know how to touch the keys. Play the music intimately as though youre telling an interesting story to your best friend. Use your energy to make the music personal to you and unique to your own taste and style.

CD Duplication

Recent developments in technology have allowed people to burn their own CDs and DVDs by using their own computers. They can easily create personal music CDs that contain their favorite songs; they can also copy DVDs so that they would have a back up of their favorite movies. In addition to this, such developments in technology have also made it possible for people in business to have a way of backing up important company files. However, people who wish to use this technology need specific equipment such as a CD or DVD burner and the appropriate software that can allow them to burn CDs and DVDs. Fortunately, such equipment is readily available in most computer shops, and the software is widely available on the Internet.

Finding Software

A simple query on CD burning software on the Internet can lead you to a number of sites that offer different kinds of free software. However, most if not all of the software that is being offered on these sites are only free tria l versions, which usually expire after a period of thirty days. After the trial period, you would have to pay to be able to use the software. However, the prices of this software are reasonable and can be considered a worthy investment or a small price to pay for the benefits you get from this kind of software. You can also expect that the software being offered is easy to use and is accompanied by technical support that can help you in cases when you have some difficulty in using the software.

ApArt from the software itself, web sites also offer other software that can help you duplicate your CDs or DVDs. One example of this is software that can help you make labels for your CDs to help you personalize your CD or DVD.

Developments in technology today allow an average person to make personal CDs, dupl icate DVDs and back up files in a practical and convenient way. The development of software that allows people to burn CDs and DVDs is an example of this. This software is widely available in the market, especially on the Internet where free trial versions are available to help people choose in the right software for their needs.

Would You Trust This Man...?

Declan McManus was best known to his new wave following as that inventive, romantic and somewhat controversial songwriter who went under the name of Elvis Costello. When embarking on the adventure of analysis of one of his many albums, one must first have to assess which one of his vast album contribution to the British music industry is the best.

Perhaps one of the most inspiring and creative of his career was the 1981 release of the album Trust. On and off with The Attractions throughout his early years, this album didnt cut the same grade as his previous three albums (two with the band, and one solo) which all swiped the top ten on the backside with a surprise smack. Even though this album will forever ride on the successful wave of Armed Forces (January 1979), Get Happy, (February 1980) and This Years Model (March 1978) it will still be remembered for being a vast improvement to his debut album My Aim Is True (July 1977) which, although it featured single atte mpts, Alison and Mystery Dance, it wasnt enough to convince the general buying public that this bespectacled, geeky, ex computer operator was to be the next best thing to the first Elvis.

Trust, as one would expect contains a surprise at every turn. From the middle of the road, poetic Club land, to the dance hall, sweatiness of Luxemburg and Lovers Walk, this album not only denotes a certain point in culture history but a turning point in the art of appreciating the new wave sound. Arguably, the King of new wave, one would also consider the title of inventor. This young man with a lot to say about love, love lost, unemployment and social change under the then Thatcher government, managed to entrance all walks of life into his fanatic clutches. Mums devoted themselves as second generation new wavies when, in this album, the thoughtful, pensive side of Costello melts into the ears of any middle aged mother through certain tracks as Watch Your Step, and Youll Never Be A Man. Her teenage sons will be pounding up and down on the bedroom floor in drainpipes and tank tops to the thundering beats of From A Whisper To A Scream, which, incidentally is the only single released from the album, but even more surprising, it failed to even break into the charts. It is in this track that you will notice the unmistakeable, high, croaky voice of the lead man, Glenn Tilbrook, from Squeeze. It was Squeezes 1981 album, East Side Story, that Costello co produced.

The whole concept of Trust, seemed, however to be somewhat experimental compared to albums to that date. The sullen, piano based Shot With His Own Gun, shows that Costello had certainly perfected the art of lyrically writing a song with depth, feeling and a moral tale, yet, musically, his tracks seemed to side out of control through too many minor keys. When the balance was correct, the effect of Costellos work could be stunning in the sense that the audible quality would make one sit bolt upright. On reflection of this album, one can also see why there were some people who couldnt really stand him. However, if you could distance yourself from sometimes, the flat, mixed backing, such lines as yesterdays news is tomorrows fish and chip paper.. would go forever undiscovered.

Certainly, these titles one flicks though are enough, on their own to wet the appetite. Such tracks as Big Sisters Clothes, can conjure so much up in the imagination of the dullest of minds. Yet, one has to listen to this album, rather than bop to it. One thing that new wave had been, initially was music that was predominately flat in lyric and meaningless. The very thing that had sold new wave to the discerning public was its electrifying beat and jangly guitar. No actually instruments ever stood out, and the lead vocals were never that incredible. For example, Debbie Harry of Blondie, couldnt really sing, but she was a visual impact and attractive enough to sell her grou ps style of new wave to millions all over the world. Costello, on the other hand didnt have impact of the same nature. He was slight in build, with great, enormous glasses on his face and a quiff of wild dark hair, still, he had an ability to create his own poetic moments of genius though angelic notes through his words and soft strokes of guitar chords that left the listener on a cliff edge, captured by the very word he was stretching out rather than how good his guitar playing was.

It is these little touches of drifting soulful edges of his work that we find in abundance throughout this album. A complete mixed bag of little stories about everything heart breakingly true. Even a little country mood flutters in and out briefly though the drunken bars of Different Finger. To grab and old, sickening clich here, theres something for everyone. (Yuk!)

In true vomiting style, anything inspired by Costello is worth owning. Everything that he touched turned to Co stello Gold. His mark can still be seen through all types of music even today. As well as producing and co writing for his fellow bands in his hay day, hes strong influence on alternative poetic sounds have slipped through the drains of music studios even now. That unmistakeable whine of heart melting suicide delicately framed with a piano one day and end -of -pier organs the next. This exquisite soul searching technique of song writing sits in surreal fashion against the tackiness of a suit that looks cheap and a set to match. Even on looking at that picture on the back sleeve of the vinyl LP, one would put money on the fact that those flowers sitting on top of the piano were plastic

However budget this record may seem on the outside, the quality of simply song composition within is far from it. What this album, and even more so, the man, Costello himself represents quite beautifully is a collaboration of all the things that we can associate withfish and chips dr enched in vinegar, cheap perfume and lipstick, workingmans clubs thick with cigarette smoke, snogs along a darkened alleyway and Saturday night local club acts.

Its that association that draws us to such artists as Elvis Costello, and never lets go

Tracks include;

Club Land
Lovers Walk
Youll Never Be A Man
Pretty Words
Strict Time

14 Ways Musicians Can Increase Their Tips

I was listening to NPR the other day when they did a report on tipping in the restaurant industry. One they had a list of Tips on how wait staff can increase their Tips.

That got me brainstorming and surfing the net for other ideas to boost Tips. That combined with lots of performances at Renaissance Festivals helped me to develop my own list of ways Musicians can Improve their Tips.

1. Introduce yourself by name

Too often Musicians forget to introduce themselves on stage. Make sure you tell the audience your band name, but to really boost your Tips, you should also introduce yourselves individually. Let people know who you are as an individual and you'll see greater Tips.

2. Go out into the audience with a tip jar

You really can't be passive when it comes to getting Tips. You have to walk out into the audience with some visual reference that says Tip Me!, and they will tip you.

3. Meet your audience at their level

Take the time to talk to your audience members at their level. Holding a discussion from a stage puts a wall between you and them. So instead, go out into the audience and talk to them face to face. Kneel if they're at a table, so you're at eye level. And if you have ayour tip jar with you, you will you will not only gain a fan, but you will also Improve your Tips.

4. Make your appearance personal

We wear kilts to most of our gigs. A kilt adds a very personal touch It links us to a certain culture and makes people take notice. Course you don't have to go that route, instead find some piece of clothing that reflects your personality and you will boost your Tips.

5. Recommend your favorite CD

If you have multiple CDs, your audience will always ask for your favorite. Tell them what it is. If you only have one, you can do the same by recommending other artists that you like. That adds a two-fold advantage of helping your audience find music they like and helping your fel low Musicians.

6. Smile

A bright, confident smile will bring fans back again and again with lots o'big Tips.

7. Involve your audience in the music with a joke or game

Next time you're up on stage, see what happens when you joke around with the audience. Your personality will glow all the more and so will your Tips.

8. Chat with fans by name

Music fans love nothing more than to be recognized by the bands they love. So do your best to remember their names. They will feel that much more attached to your music and feel like your friend. And these friends will tip you better for the courtesy.

9. Touch your audience

When you're out socializing with your audience, touch them (in a non-sexual way). Whether you shake their hand, pat them on the shoulder or back, or just brush against them, wait staff find that that even that will boost their Tips 50%. And it will yours too.

10. Use tip jars with the VISA/Mastercard Logo

Acco rding to studies done in restaurants, just seeing those logos is enough to encourage customers to tip more. I know it sounds crazy, but give it a try. You may be pleasantly surprised with the results.

11. Give your audience something in return for their tip

People love feeling like they're getting their money's worth. And many people don't realize you should tip bands. So give something in return. It could be something as big as a sticker or magnet, or as simple as a business card that might include a $1 off your CDs. Or hey what about feeding their sweet tooth with a piece of candy. Whatever the case, that little gift will mean big tipping results.

12. Draw a picture

On a similar note, if you give them a business card, draw or make a comment on it. That piece will be more valuable to them and will result in bigger Tips.

13. Make tipping a part of the show

Why wait until the end of the set to ask for Tips. Sing a song about tipping, or get your audience involved in the tipping process by shouting something. Or offer a prize to the first tipper. But integrate it into your show and it won't seem like you're just begging for money, rather you're making it fun to tip.

14. Thank your audience

No gig would be complete without an audience. So thank them for taking the time to watch you perform. They will feel the personal touch and respond when you ask for money.

15. Bonus Tipping Suggestion:

If the change is five dollars, never return a five-dollar bill. Always give back five ones. This allows the customer to tip you with some of the dollar bills you returned. You will rarely get a $5 tip and returning a $5 bill will turn off tippers. In general, it's good to return all ones if the change is less than $8. You want the customer to have at least two ones so they can give it back as the tip.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is an American pop singer born on March 27, 1970, at Long Island, in New York district, from Alfred Roy Carey, and mother Patricia Hickey, opera singing professor. Mariah Carey has a sister, Alison (born in 1959) and a brother, Morgan (born in 1961).

During a night pArty reuniting US music people, Brenda K. Starr introduces Mariah Carey to Tommy Mottola (manager of recording company Sony Music) and presents him a sample of songs that Mariah Carey has already made.

In 1990, the first Mariah Carey album releases. Called Mariah Carey (All In Your Mind, Alone In Love, I Don't Wanna Cry, Love Takes Time, Prisoner, Sent From Up Above, Someday, There's Got To Be A Way, Vanishing, Vision Of Love, You Need Me), the Mariah Carey album quickly becomes a real success, staying eleven weeks on top of US Billboard. Mariah Carey album sold 17 million copies and Mariah Carey singles Vison of Love, Love Takes Time, Someday and I don't Wanna Cry are all ranked number one of US chArts. Vision of Love and Love Takes Time will also be number one in Canada.

In 1991, Mariah Carey releases her second studio album Emotions (And You Don't Remember, Can't Let Go, Emotions, If It's Over, Make It Happen, So Blessed, The Wind, Till The End Of Time, To Be Around You, You're So Cold) which encountered a real success despite sales being weaker than the previous one, at 13 million copies. This doesn't prevent Mariah Carey from getting her first single from her new album, ranks #1 in American chArts. Mariah Carey just beats the first record by becoming the sole Artist to rank her 5 singles at the first place of chArts. The 2 other singles Can't Let go and Make It Happen are ranked #2 and #5. It is during this same year, that Mariah Carey receives her first awards; 2 Grammy Awards. More personally, Mariah Carey begins a relationship with Tommy Mottola.

To face rumors from American critics concerning the voice usurpation, Mariah Carey invited by MTV Unplugged, decides to perform in live her first success: Emotions, If It's Over, Someday, Vision Of Love, Make It Happen , and Can't Let Go as well as a song of the Jackson Five: Ill Be There. The producer of the TV program impressed by her performing decides to release an album and a video of her performance on June 20 1992. The Mariah Carey album sells over 10 million copies. The first single of this Mariah Carey album I'll Be There ranks #1 of the US chArts, adding once again to the other #1 of Mariah Carey in the US, the single will also be #1 in Canada becoming the third Mariah Carey song to reach this first rank in this country.

In 1993, Mariah Carey married Tommy Mottola. Mariah Carey releases her fourth album Music Box (All I've Ever Wanted, Anytime You Need A Friend, Dreamlover, Hero, I've Been Thinking About You, Just To Hold You Once Again, Music Box, Never Forget You, Now That I Know, Without You), a lbum which will reveal Mariah Carey in many countries. The first two Mariah Carey singles of this album, Dreamlover and Hero both rank on top of US chArts. Following Without You and Anytime You Need A Friend, this last one being a very gospel song, a style that Mariah Carey pArticularly loves. To be noted that Without You is the biggest success of Mariah Carey in Europe. Mariah Carey ended her tour, the Music Box, exclusively in the US.

In 1994 is released Mariah Carey album Merry Christmas (Silent Night, Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (Anniversary Mix), Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town, O Holy Night, Miss You Most (At Christmas Time), Jo y To The World, jesus Oh What A Wonderful Child, Jesus Born On This Day, hark! The Herald Angels Sing/Goria (In Excelsis Deo), God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Christmas (Baby Please Come Home), All I Want For Christmas Is You). The first single of this Mariah Carey album All I Want For Christmas Is You gets a rare success for a Christmas song (#2 in the UK and Australia) but it is in Japan that the impact of this Mariah Carey song is the most important as it is the biggest success of Mariah Carey as singles. In the US, All I Want For Christmas Is You only gets a relatively impact as it ranked #83 in the Billboard Hot 100. However, each end of the year, this song is added in US playlists, reaching radio audience as high as new titles of the moment. This Mariah Carey album sold at 15 million copies in the world, becoming the Christmas album the most sold ever to date.

In 1995, Mariah Carey releases her sixth album Daydream (Always Be My Baby, Daydream Interlu de (Fantasy Sweet Dub Mix), Fantasy, Forever, I Am Free, Long Ago, Looking In, Melt Away, One Sweet Day, Open Arms, Underneath The Stars, When I Saw You). Very expected following the top Music Box' and her now worldwide popularity, it sales at over 24 million copies in the world, especially becoming her biggest success in the US. Mariah Carey album is more Hip-Pop and R'n'B. Mariah Carey single Fantasy directly reaches the first place of US Billboard and will stay there for 8 weeks. However, the biggest of this Mariah Carey album, the biggest success of all time in the US chArts, is One Sweet Day: 16 weeks #1, a song with the Boyz II Men. The last Mariah Carey single on the US market, Always Be My Baby, also reaches the top Billboard. The other Mariah Carey singles, Open Arms, Underneath The Stars and Forever are especially dedicated to the European countries. Fantasy will also have a big impact as it will be #1 in Canada, Australia and Japan. Mariah Carey then begins a new mini tour: the Daydream Tour. This time, Japan (3 dates in Tokyo), the Netherlands, the UK, France and Germany are the lucky countries.

Mariah Carey divorced in 1997 from her husband Tommy Mottola. Mariah Carey releases the same year Butterfly (Babydoll, Breakdown, Butterfly, Close My Eyes, Fly Away (Butterfly Reprise), Fourth Of July, Honey, My All, Outside, The Beautiful Ones, The Roof, Whenever You Call) and the butterfly becomes her symbol of freedom. This Mariah Carey album, which Mariah Carey considers as an important turn of her career, contains 2 songs ranked #1 in the US chArts: Honey (directly #1) for three we eks and My All for one week. Honey is both #1 in Japan and #3 in the UK. Then according to the countries Butterfly, Breakdown and The Roof are commercialized. The evolution of Mariah Carey is not only musical: Mariah Carey stArts to adopt a clothing style more sexy. Mariah Carey album sells at over 17 million copies. Mariah Carey then stArts her third tour: the Butterfly Tour. This time again, few countries will be visited: Australia, Japan, Taiwan and Hawaii.

In 1998, Ones (Always Be My Baby, Dreamlover, Emotions, Fantasy (Featuring O.D.B.), Hero, Honey, I Don't Wanna Cry, I Still Believe, I'll Be There (Featuring Trey Lorenz), Love Takes Time, My All, One Sweet Day (With Boyz II Men), Someday, SweetheArt (With JD), Vision Of Love, When You Believe (From The Prince Of Egypt) (With Whitney Houston), Whenever You Call (With Brian McKnight)) is released. We can find on this Mariah Carey album all the singles #1, 3 duos When You Believe with Whitney Houston, which will be #1 in Japan and in Spain, Whenever You Call with Brian McKnight and SweetheArt in duo with Jermaine Dupri as well as 2 songs Do You Know Where You're Going To (Theme from Mahogany) and I Still Believe song of Brenda K Starr. The Mariah Carey album sold at over 16 million copies and becomes the album from a stranger the most sold ever in Japan (over 2 million). For many, this best closes the first pArt of Mariah Carey career.

In 1999, Mariah Carey releases Rainbow (After Tonight, Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now), Bliss, Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme), Crybaby, Did I Do That?, HeArtbreaker, HeArtbreaker (Remix), How Much, Petals, Rainbow (Interlude), Thank God I Found You, Vulnerability (Interlude), X-Girlfriend) which first single HeArtbreaker, duo with with Jay-Z, will rank #1 in Billboard and will stay for 2 weeks. Followed by Thank God I Thank You (which ranks first place in US chArts becoming the 15th #1 of Mariah Carey in her natal country), Can't Take That Away, Crybaby and Against All Odds. Mariah Carey sold more than 10 million copies of this album. Mariah Carey then really does a world tour: the Rainbow Tour. 3 continents (North America, Europe and Asia) could claim Mariah Carey the diva. However, many criticize Mariah Carey for a tired voice during this tour.

In 2001, Mariah Carey doesn't renew her contract with Sony, the recording company of her beginnings managed at that time by ex husband Mottola, and signs at Virgin for 5 albums for US$117 millions. Mariah Carey gets work on a film and an album which are both named: Glitter (All My Life, Didn't Mean To Turn You On, Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica), If We, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, Lead The Way, Loverboy, Loverboy Remix, Never Too Far, Reflections (Care Enough), Twister, Want You). The project, long worked by Mariah Carey herself, little by little falls out of her hands according to her and will become her first flop: only 3,5 million copies in the world and an 11th position in the US. To finalize her performance in the movie, Mariah Carey wins a Razzie Awards as worst actress of the year. Despite a #2 in the US Billboard with very controversial title Loverboy, Mariah Carey is suddenly no more back up by the US radios and the press is no more tender with Mariah Carey. The same year, is released a best of called Greatest Hits under Sony label, her previous music recording company. Mar iah Carey can't forbid the release of this album which will be sold a first time at 3 million copies.

In 2002, Mariah Carey is hospitalized following a nervous depression (preventing her from promoting the original soundtrack of Glitter around the world). Mariah Carey was so long considered by American press as the little Cinderella of America and who served as vocal model for all young Artists, lives her darkest times: people criticize her clothing, her physical appearance and her acting desires. People even talk about suicide, which Mariah Carey denied after. Mariah Carey found refuge at her mother's. To close this difficult period, her father, with whom Mariah Carey tried to link back strong relationship, dies some times later.

Dropped from Virgin Records, Mariah Carey signs in 2002 a contract with Universal and creates her own label MonarC. Mariah Carey plays in a film Wisegirld which contrary to Glitter receives very good critics and where Mariah Carey creates the surprise. Her acting play was pArticularly appreciated during the famous festival of Toronto where the movie was presented. End 2002, Mariah Carey releases Charmbracelet (Boy (I Need You) feat. Cam'Ron, Bringin' On The HeArtbreak, Clown, I Only Wanted, Irresistible (Westside Connection), Lullaby, My Saving Grace, Subtle Invitation, Sunflowers For Alfred Roy, The One, Through The Rain, Through The Rain (Remix) feat. Kelly Price and Joe, You Got Me feat. Jay-Z an d Freeway, You Had Your Chance, Yours), album mainly dedicated to her father where are extracted the singles Through The Rain(#1 in Spain, #8 in the UK), Boy (I Need You), I Know What You Want and Bringin' On The HeArtbreak. This Mariah Carey album, very expected by the press after the first failure (Glitter) of the singer who sold the most discs in the 90s is once again a half flop: it sold only around 4 million copies, including only 1,1 million in the US. Mariah Carey then stArts a tour: the Charmedbracelet Tour. 69 dates in total, including China and Malaysia, countries not very often visited by Artists.

In October 2003, Sony, her previous recording company, releases a new album called The Remixes (Always Be My Baby - Mr. Dupri Mix featuring Da Brat and Xscape, Anytime You Need A Friend - C&C Club Version, Breakdown - Featuring Krayzie Bone & Wish Bone, Crybaby - Album Version Featuring Snoop Dogg, Dreamlover Def Club Mix, EMOTIONS 12 Club Mix, FANTASY Def Club Mix, Fantasy Feat. O.D.B., Fly Away (Butterfly Reprise) - Fly Away Club Mix, HeArtbreaker - Remix Featuring Da Brat & Missy Elliott, HeArtbreaker/If You Should Ever Be Lonely - Junior's HeArtbreaker Club Mix, Honey - So So Def Mix Featuring Da Brat & JD, Honey Classic Mix, I Know What You Want - Album Version Busta Rhymes & Mariah Carey (Featuring Flipmode Squad), Loverboy - Remix, Miss You - Feat. Jadakiss, My All Morales - My Club Mix, My All/Stay Awhile - So So Def Remix Featuring Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz 4, SweetheArt - Album Version, The One - So So Def Remix Featuring Bonecrusher, Through The Rain HQ2 Radio Edit). This Mariah Carey album, which contains a lot of #1 of US clubs, will sell nearly 1 million copies around the he world. Mariah Carey didn't pArticipate to the promotion of this album and didn't appreciate once again the methods of Sony.

Despite the failures that Mariah Carey encountered, Mariah Carey works very hard in 2004 to produce her new album. It is with the collaboration of the biggest in R&B and US rap (Jermaine Dupri, The Neptunes, Snoop Dogg, Pharell Williams, Kanye West,...), that Mariah Carey finishes her new concept album, the most worked according to her after Butterfly.

The Emancipation of Mimi (Circles, Fly Like A Bird, Get Your Number featuring Jermaine Dupri, I Wish You Knew, Its Like That, Joy Ride, Mine Again, One

And Only featuring Twista, Say Somethin featuring Snoop Dogg, Shake It Off, Stay The Night, To The Floor featuring Nelly, We Belong Together, Your Girl), released on April 12 2005, has been announced as The return of THE Voice by the American medias proclaiming the last Mariah Carey album as her big comeback to the international scene after the commercial failures of Glitter and Charmbracelet.

Damir CD Title: Black and White Released: Feb 2006 Review

Damir is the New modern architect against conformity and commercialism and at the same time free spirited to be categorized, crossing over from the stage to the podium and back to the stage. Black and White is Damir's most accomplished release to date, an album that is inspired; inventive, ambitious and cutting edge lyrically. Having spent time in Tokyo, Japan, Damir accomplished a track giving respect to Japanese Culture as well as introducing himself to his New audience. Crossing all barriers, when moving to a non-English speaking country this artist put his best foot forward and put together White Boy Gaijin, where Damir raps in Japanese.

Typically, Black and White is an English album, with an attempt to cross over to a New market. Maybe a marketing ploy as most would see it, but I see it as sincere, genuine and a natural growth from living in Japan. Black and White encompasses this idea by stepping into technology and keeping with the formula of the traditional h ip-hop track.

The balance between the keyboard technology and tradition shines light on inventiveness and capabilities of his caliber. The most interesting element of Damir's Music is the multiplicity of styles. As most albums wrap themselves around concepts, the wonderment of a one hit song, and finally many guests featured on each track, Black and White has no blueprint to the existing one album mind sketch.

Combining hip hop 70s with a future techno industrial edge.

Rap Music, specifically Damir, has freed us from many conventional song-writing formulas.
