Because of Kenny's work ethic and fan dedication, it's no secret he played more stadiums this year than any other country Artist in cities such as Seattle, Tampa, Dallas, Nashville, Columbus, LA and Detroit. With all the other venues in this years tour that adds up to alot of fans.
In the past 5 years, Kenny has played before 5.8 million people so far and counting, wit h a few dates remaining in this years tour. 1 million plus fans a year for 5 years straight. No other country Artist has been able to draw those numbers to my knowledge.
Here is what Kenny said about the tour this year.
It just feels like one big pArty. I don't sit around counting, because I'm too busy smiling and getting rocked by all these fans. You know, our fans bring it and throw it back at us every bit as hard as we do... so it's always the more they give us, the more we wanna send back -- and it's so loud and crazy every night! To me, that's not measured with numbers, but the cheers and the looks on those faces.
And it 's funny... we had someone come up to us the other night, and she said, 'You know, if we don't come see you, it's like it's not summer!'
Kenny said I gotta tell you, that felt pretty damn great.

Not sure if you saw the recent J.C. Penney Jam ... The Concert for America's Kids that was held out Los Angeles earlier this summer. It was hosted by Dr. Phil and his wife. Kenny played two songs, one to open the show and one to close the show. I

And it's that time of year again for the 40th Annual CMA Awards which will be hosted by Brooks & Dunn and broadcast live from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, on 6th Nov 06 on ABC.
I won't list all the awards here but Kenny is up for 4 awards in the following categories:

For the first time, the public will be able to purchase tickets to this event. So if you're in and around Nashville, you can grab some tickets at the GEC box office, 501 Broadway, Nashville. Tickets go on sale 15 Sep 06.

With only a few nights left in the Road and The Radio Tour, look for the final batch of Concert Reviews to appear on my concert review page. I still have a few from Aug I haven't posted as yet but will get'em up there by the end of this weekend.

Billboard has Kenny's You Save Me sitting currently at # 17 on the Hot Country Songs ChArt. This CD could produce the 3rd #1 after Living In Fast Forward and Summertime, with Who You'd Be Today grabbin a #2 position.

Wel l Sep 19th is getting close for Kenny's upcoming release of Kenny Chesney Live. But why wait until then to hear the 14 tracks. If you go to the following link, you can listen to the entire CD before it hits the shelves. Enjoy! I gave the CD a listen as I was putting together this newsletter .. pretty awesome to say the least.
7. Do You Google? ... Most folks are familiar with the Google Search Engine at www.google.com.
But the next time you're there, click on the more link and then the even more link and explore all of the toys available there. In pArticular, Google EArth. If you'd like to fly in from space to your favorite city or explor e your own home from above, check out this tool. But be careful ... you just may spend hrs flying around the world.

A Computer Tip Before We Go - Is your computer slow? There are a few things you can do to speed things up. One is to ensure you're only running programs you need when you're sitting in front of your system.
Take a look at the clock in the lower right corner. Are there a ton of icons sitting there when you expand that arrow? Just hover your mouse over each one to see if it's necessary. If you don't need it, right click it and shut it off. Why have a program running and eating up resources if you're not using it? There is a way to stop these unnecessary programs from launching when you stArt your computer.
I'm creating a free checklist report on computer tips you'll be able t o download in the next issue. I'll give you the link to a PDF file with pics in it so you can print it out and speed up that computer of yours. And you thought I was only a Kenny Chesney fan like you ... lol!
