ID3v1 & ID3v2 Tags!

Hey Musicians, get your Music known! First off I have gone through all my radio stations database songs, putting the names of the songs and Musicians names on the files. Not only that I put them in the ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags.

The most basic and useful setup is to go into your file, right click and click rename. If you have track1.mp3 no one will know whos it for even if they did download it from you. Instead of using that, rename it to YOUR NAME - YOUR SONG TITLE.mp3, so it would look like this: Random Band Name - Random Song Title.mp3 Spaces are not a big deal anymore for computers so use them, if you don't use this:

Now after you do that you must go into your tag files, these tag files are what shows the title, album, artist name, etc all to the Mp3 Player, Windows Player, Real Player, iTunes, Winamp, etc... They all work the same, so lets start using these tags.

It is very simple, once in your Music player, right click on the file, click on view file in fo, or if it says ID3v1 or ID3v2 tag then click that. It will give you a forum to input all your info, usually if its a good Music player it will give you both tags. Basically they are the same with one being an upgrade from another. Please put all your information in that forum and save. Thats all!

NOTE* These tags are available only in mp3 files, however wav, wma, and other files have the same idea just different tag names.

Hope this helps!
